YOU AND I NEED THEM!!!!

Did you know in N.C. there's a move underway right now to keep all hunter's from hunting with a fire arm until they are 16 years old? Even with their parent's!!!!!!

Hmmmmmmmm.

I wonder who would be an excellent ally to kick these anti-hunter's butt's? They'll chip away at us any way they can.

I bet "Dear Ol' Mom", or your wife, or your sister, or even your daughter would be a good ally.

So, don't talk trash about these ladies until you see them hunt.

I've said all that to say this. I know a "lady hunter" who kicked my butt, and probably, according to harvest statistics, 90% of your butt's. Her name is Carroll Stone. Some of you may remember her by her maiden name, Carroll Hill. Her husband is Clint Stone.

I tell you that because I'm not going to tell you where she harvested two "monster" bucks right here in the Triangle. If you know Carroll or her husband, Clint, you will have some idea of where they hunt.

What's so special about "her" you say. Well, I mounted two deer for her just before Christmas this year and I know for a fact the mid-neck on one of the deer measured 32" round! She weighed the deer just after harvest. He tipped the scales on the farm at 210 lbs. The scales stop at 210 lbs.

Hmmmmmmmm. 32" neck. Weighed over 210 lbs. Yep, kicked my butt. And, yep, Women can hunt!

Congratulations to Carroll. I only wish these pictures gave her deer a better depiction of it's size. At least you get a bit of an idea with Carroll standing beside her buck.
