Bear mounts

This is a North Carolina black bear from our coastal swamps. I could not take a close-up photo of this bear because whomever helped the hunter cape him out didn't have a clue as to how to skin him for mounting. He was split through the chest up to the neck.
Because this hunter decided on a "half-life" size mount, this bear should have been caped out almost like a white tail. A circle cut should have been made around the stomach, as in line C below, and the cape pealed off. "NO FURTHER CUTS SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE".
He would then be caped, removing his front legs as the cape is rolled. His legs would be cut off at the wrists leaving the paws intact. The cape would then be rolled down the neck to just behind the ears. The head would remain intact with the cape.
