Example #1

This deer was most likely caped-out too short! Makes it very hard on the taxidermist. May not be able to use the cape.

REMEMBER! Try to leave the leg openings. That way I know there is enough cape.

 

 

Example #2

 

When caping out the deer, this is where you make the circular incision around the body. Then the short slit up the leg. DO NOT CUT THE BRISKET.

See the short distance from my hand to the end of the removed leg? That is the only cut you need to make near the chest.
